Chat Widget

Add the widget to WordPress

Adding the widget to WordPress uses the same code snippet, placed so it loads on every page.

Install it

1
Edit your widget and click Save and preview.
2
Copy the script from the preview page.
3
Paste it into the header section of the WP Code — Insert Headers and Footers plugin (or a similar header-and-footer plugin if you already use one).
4
Save changes, and purge your site cache if you use a caching plugin.
5
Adjust the widget's margin in the chat button options if it overlaps other elements.
6
Save the widget and purge the cache again to see the updated version.
Not seeing your changes?

If you update the widget and the site still shows the old version, purge your WordPress cache — this is the most common reason changes don't appear.

Header-footer plugins

If your theme has no footer script box, a simple header-and-footer code plugin lets you paste the snippet safely without editing theme files.
