Send products and collect order details

Once your catalogue is live, you can send products to customers in a chat and, after they order, collect the details you need to fulfil it, like address and payment.

Three ways to send products

All three are set up from an Ask a Question block in the bot builder, usually triggered by a menu option or keyword.

Catalog Message — add the catalog option in the question block and enter the product SKU ID or retailer ID. Shows your full catalogue.

Single Product Message — select the single product option, enter the catalog ID and product SKU ID. Shows one specific product.

•

Multi-Product Message — select the multi-product option, enter the catalog ID, then create sections grouping specific product SKUs. Shows a curated set of products.

Let customers search your catalogue

Instead of showing a fixed set of products, you can let the customer search by name, SKU, description, or colour, and show matching results dynamically. The first 30 matches display as a multi-product message.

Create a Bot Field to hold search results (a JSON structure — see the video for the sample format).

Ask the customer what they're looking for.

Use the Search Products action to fetch matches based on their input, and save the results to your Bot Field.

Add a Multi-Product Message block, enter the catalog ID, and map the product SKUs from your Bot Field.

Matching products are shown to the customer, who can add them to cart and check out directly.

Collecting the order details

Send products from the catalogue into a conversation. When a customer places an order, follow up to collect their delivery address, payment, and any other details. This works through bots and automations so it can run without manual steps.
