Payment triggers and reminders

Payments are not just collection, they are events you can build on. A successful payment can trigger a confirmation or a fulfilment flow; a failed one can trigger a retry; and a schedule can send reminders before a due date.

Send a payment request in a bot flow

In your bot flow's Send Message block, choose the Payment Message option.

1
Use a session message if the customer is actively engaged in the conversation.
2
Fill in the body text, an optional footer, product name, price, and quantity.
3
Choose your payment gateway (Razorpay or PhonePe).
4
Set the currency, payment link expiration, tax, shipping charges, and discount type.
5
Save the message.
Build separate success and failure bots

Create a separate bot flow with a Payment Received trigger and another with a Payment Failed trigger, so each outcome gets its own message and next steps.

Payment events

The payment received trigger starts a flow when money arrives, for example issuing a ticket or thanking the customer. The payment failed trigger can prompt the customer to try again. Both live in the bot and automation builders.

Reminders

For invoices and dues, an automation can send a reminder before the date and a follow-up after. See the Automation Builder payment reminders guide for the full pattern.

Close the loop

Pairing collection with payment-event triggers means the whole order, from request to confirmation, runs without manual chasing.
