Campaign delivered poorly or failed

When a campaign reports failures or weak delivery, the delivery report tells you why. The causes are usually the audience, the template, or the messaging rules.

What to check

Open the delivery report and look at the failure reasons. Common ones: contacts who never opted in, an unapproved or paused template, recipients outside any window needing a template, the number's daily limit, or invalid numbers in the list.

Fix it

1
Send only to a clean, opted-in segment.
2
Confirm the template is approved and active.
3
Clean the contact list of invalid numbers before sending.
4
Stagger large sends so you stay within your daily limit and protect quality.

Check the exact error via Report Cycle

1
Click the Report Cycle on the broadcast or campaign to check for errors.
2
If the broadcast had multiple messages, click the message number to see more options.
3
Choose Failed to view the exact error codes Meta returned.
4
Use these codes to identify precisely what's blocking delivery. See Understanding Meta error codes for what each one means.
Clear a runaway queue

Each channel has one messaging queue. If you start a large send by mistake, you can clear the queue mid-send to save the cost of unsent messages.
