These are the only things you need before you begin. Get them in place and the whole setup takes about 15 minutes.
Insert it in a phone. During setup, Meta sends a one-time password by SMS to confirm the number is yours. You type that code once. Done.
Your own Facebook account, at least one year old. Meta uses it for business verification. A new or very fresh account will not pass.
A number with no WhatsApp installed on it. This becomes your business WhatsApp number. All customer chats go here, through the WA.Expert website, not a phone app.

With the API, all your chats happen inside the WA.Expert website. The API and the green app cannot share a number. If you install the app on your API number, the connection breaks.
