Send booking reminders via WhatsApp

Reminders cut no-shows. Using a calendar event webhook and the automation builder, you can send a WhatsApp reminder a set time before each appointment, and even a second one closer to the slot.

Set it up

In the automation builder, create a workflow with a custom webhook trigger, give it a title, and copy the URL.

In the calendars app, edit the event and paste the webhook URL. Set the reminder trigger time in minutes and update.

Add a router with a filter for the desired time, for example 30 minutes before.

Add a CRM send template block, select the channel and template, and map the WhatsApp number from the webhook.

Add another branch for a different time, for example 60 minutes, with its own send-template block and mapped variables.

Save and enable.

Two reminders work well

A reminder a day before and another an hour before tends to cut no-shows most. Map each to its own branch by time.
