Send WhatsApp on a new Shopify order

Send a WhatsApp message automatically whenever a new order is placed in Shopify. The flow uses a webhook to catch the order and a template to send the confirmation.

Set it up

In the automation builder, create a workflow and add a Custom Webhook trigger. Copy the URL.

In Shopify, go to Settings → Notifications and create a webhook. Set the event to Order Creation, format JSON, and paste the webhook URL.

Back in the builder, click Capture Incoming Webhook and place a test order so the order fields map.

Add a CRM → Send Template Message step, pick your order template, and map the customer's number and order variables.

Save and enable.
