The Time Delay block pauses a flow before sending the next message, then continues automatically once the wait is over. Use it for drip campaigns, follow-up sequences, and onboarding flows where messages need to arrive over time rather than all at once.
Choose a unit — seconds, minutes, hours, days, or weeks — and enter the duration, for example 45 minutes. The next message sends that long after the flow reaches this block.
Instead of a relative wait, set an exact date and time (DD/MM/YYYY plus a time). The next message sends at that specific moment, regardless of when the flow reached this block — useful for appointment reminders or scheduled announcements.
Time Delay waits a set duration or until a specific date/time, then continues automatically — use it for drip campaigns and scheduled messages. Pause Automation stops the flow indefinitely until a human resumes it — use it for handoffs and approvals. Smart Wait pauses specifically for a customer reply. See the Pause Automation guide for the human-handoff use case.
