A contact is one person in your CRM. Each carries their WhatsApp profile name and number plus any super fields you have filled in. The contacts view is where you search, filter, edit, and open a chat with anyone.
These steps describe CRM V2, the current version. If your account is still on the older CRM, the screens differ but the ideas are the same. Newer accounts are on V2 by default.
Search and filter by any super field, open a contact to see and edit their details, start or continue a WhatsApp chat, and add them to segments. Contacts created by bots, imports, or incoming messages all land in the same place.
