Import contacts via CSV

You can bulk-load contacts from a spreadsheet. Save it as CSV, then map your columns to CRM fields during import.

CRM V2

These steps describe CRM V2, the current version. If your account is still on the older CRM, the screens differ but the ideas are the same. Newer accounts are on V2 by default.

Import steps

Prepare your data in a spreadsheet and save it as a CSV.

Go to CRM → Contacts and click Add New Contacts → Import via CSV.

Upload the file and click Next.

Choose the import type: add only new records, update existing records, or add new and update existing.

Map each CSV column to a CRM field, including super fields like name, phone, WhatsApp, grade, or admission date. Add a custom value or a missing field here if needed.

Run the import. The status shows when it completes; verify the mapped data on a contact.

Match on the WhatsApp number

Updating existing records works best when your CSV includes the WhatsApp number, since that is how the CRM matches a row to a contact.
