Super Fields: custom CRM fields

Super Fields are the custom fields you add to contacts, so the CRM holds exactly the data your business needs, like city, customer category, GST number, or admission date.

CRM V2

These steps describe CRM V2, the current version. If your account is still on the older CRM, the screens differ but the ideas are the same. Newer accounts are on V2 by default.

Create a super field

Go to CRM and click Add Super Field.

Enter the field label, for example City.

Choose the data type: text, email, URL, phone number, numeric, amount, decimal, address, date, date and time, periodic time, and more.

For a dropdown, add the options, for example Delhi, Mumbai, Dubai, Singapore, and set a default value.

Set extra options: make it required, show it on the contact page, show it as a label in the chat inbox, and show it in the inbox sidebar.

Click Save Field.
Plan your fields first

A short, well-chosen set of super fields makes segmenting and campaigns far easier later. Add the fields you will actually filter or personalise on.
