CRM triggers: automate on data changes

CRM triggers connect your data to your automations. When something changes, a new contact, a field update, a stage move, a trigger can start a workflow, for example sending a welcome message or alerting your team.

CRM V2

These steps describe CRM V2, the current version. If your account is still on the older CRM, the screens differ but the ideas are the same. Newer accounts are on V2 by default.

Add a trigger

Go to the Automations section in the CRM.

Click Add New Trigger.

Choose the event, for example a new contact or a change to a specific super field.

Connect it to the automation or message you want to run.

Save and enable.
