Create segments to target contacts

A segment is a saved filter. Define it once on your super fields, and you can target it with campaigns again and again as contacts move in and out of it automatically.

CRM V2

These steps describe CRM V2, the current version. If your account is still on the older CRM, the screens differ but the ideas are the same. Newer accounts are on V2 by default.

Create a segment

Go to the CRM segment section and select Add New Segment.

Enter a name.

Use the filter options to choose a super field and set a condition, for example is, is not, or a value match.

Enter the value to match.

Click Create Segment.
Segments stay live

Because a segment is a filter, not a fixed list, contacts join or leave it as their field values change. A campaign sent to a segment always reaches the current members.
