Award points with bots and automations

Points are most useful when they update themselves. A bot or automation can add points when a customer does something, a purchase, a referral, a visit, and deduct them on a redemption, with no manual entry.

How it works

In a bot or automation, add the step that records a reward transaction for the customer, then follow it with a WhatsApp message confirming the new balance. For example, an order-paid trigger can award points and message the customer their updated total.

Tie it to events

Connect points to real events: a payment-received trigger awards purchase points, a referral flow awards referral points. See the Automation Builder docs for triggers.
