Display name or green tick was rejected

Meta reviews display names and badge requests against its policies, and can reject either. The fixes are about meeting those policies.

Display name rejected

Use your real brand or business name, avoid generic words and unrelated terms, and make sure it matches how your business is known. After a successful change you must set the two-factor PIN again. Resubmit a compliant name if rejected.

Green tick rejected

The verified badge depends on brand notability: an established, well-known presence helps, and press coverage supports the case. Make sure your business is verified in Meta Business Manager first. Not every business qualifies on the first attempt, and the badge is not required to send messages.

The badge is optional

Your number works fully without the green tick. It is a trust signal, not a requirement, so do not let a rejection block your launch.
