WhatsApp number status shows NA

If your WhatsApp number status has changed to NA after previously working correctly, there are two likely causes: the number was deleted from WA Manager, or the account was banned for a policy violation.

Diagnose the cause

Click the WhatsApp icon and select WA Manager. This opens WhatsApp Manager, or visit business.facebook.com/wa/manage directly.

Check what WA Manager shows for your number.

Fix it based on what you find

A
If the account shows no number: the number has been deleted. Permanently disable the channel on your side, then create a new WhatsApp channel for the same number. See Register a new number.
B
If the account or number is banned for a policy violation: you need to file an appeal directly with Meta. There is no dashboard fix for a policy ban — it must go through Meta's review process.
