Questions

Is a general ChatGPT-style bot allowed on WhatsApp?

Since 15 January 2026, Meta's terms do not allow general-purpose AI assistants on the WhatsApp Business API. A bot that answers questions about your own business, orders and services is fine.

Who pays for the AI?

You use your own OpenAI API key, so OpenAI bills you directly for usage.
