Bot triggers explained

A trigger is the starting point of a flow. It decides when the bot runs. Choosing the right one keeps routing clean and tracking accurate.

Message triggers

New Message Received fires on any incoming message, good for a welcome or default reply. Message Match Keyword fires on a specific word, good for intent routing. Hot Keyword is a priority trigger that overrides normal flows.

Campaign and external triggers

Click to WhatsApp Ad starts the bot when someone arrives from a Meta ad. Inbound Webhook lets an outside system start a flow via an API call.

System and event triggers

Payment Received and Payment Failed for order or recovery flows, New Order Received and Order Updated for e-commerce, Mini App Submission after a form, and Missed Call Received for missed-call campaigns.
