Share and clone a bot flow

The Template Share feature lets you export any bot flow as a shareable link. The recipient clones it into their own account in one click. Use this to reuse your own flows across multiple accounts, or to hand a flow to a client.

Go to Bot Builder and open your bot list.

Find the flow you want to share. Click the three-dot menu next to it.

Select Share.

Choose the link type: One-Time Link (more secure, works once only) or Lifetime Link (reusable, stays active).

Click Generate Sharing Token.

Copy the generated URL.

One-time vs lifetime

Use a one-time link when sharing with a client so the flow cannot be redistributed. Use a lifetime link when sharing a template you want anyone to be able to clone repeatedly.

Clone a bot flow

Open the copied URL in a browser. Make sure you are logged into the correct WA.Expert account first.

Click Clone Workflow.

Rename the bot flow for your account.

Select the appropriate WhatsApp channel for this account.

Configure any settings specific to this account (triggers, team assignments, etc.).

Click Save Workflow and then Enable it.

After cloning

Cloned flows are fully independent copies. Changes in the original do not affect clones, and vice versa. Review all API keys, channel selections, and CRM field mappings after cloning, as these are account-specific.
